With my younger kids, I am always working on pronouns and action words. This adapted book is great for working on simple sentences: He/She is verb+ing. Very simple and clear words with each word in it's on box.
The great thing is that you can print, laminate, and bind these books or just download them as ibooks for a no-prep activity. It comes with extra pictures of each action and printed word to cut and match or create your own sentences. There is a sentence strip included as well.
