Articulation Apps

I love using my ipad in speech therapy! Kids love it and stay engaged when completing activities or working for a reinforcer on the ipad. Currently, I am using several apps to target speech sounds on the ipad......and they are FREE! This makes them double awesome. Here is a screen shot (with my cute dog in the background) of my ARTIC category on the ipad:

Ok from left to right and top to bottom, here are the app names: 

• ICanArticulate: free version has /k/ sounds only. You can purchase additional sounds for a couple of dollars. 
• Quick Artic: all sounds are totally free. Just click start and the target phoneme to get easy flashcards with real pictures and printed words. 
• Articulation Games Lite: free version has /b/ sound only. The whole system is $34 which is a little too pricey for me. I stick to the /b/ sound for my little ones. They love the wheel spin!
• Fat Cat App Lite: this has CVC words and a good break down of each phoneme. I use it for my kids that have final consonant deletion. 
• Phonics Studio: LOVE this app. It has all the speech sounds for free. You can record the child's speech and have them listen to their sound then mark correct/incorrect. THEN you can email it to their parents with sound clips of their child's speech and results for number correct. 
• PCS Memory: totally free. There is an articulation tab with individual speech sounds to play in a quick, easy memory game. 
• PCS Bingo: awesome and free. Go to the articulation tab, choose your speech sound, then play BINGO with the target sound words.
